Did you know that multi-strand necklaces, where you can twist the individual strands together, are called torsades? This term is derived from the French "torsadée", which means "twisted". The coral has a uniform hue of intense red. A clasp of white gold and 15 diamonds holds the total of six strands together. We had the coral reknotted and the pearl silk renewed so the necklace can be worn worry-free.
